Upton’s Naturals is introducing three new recipes to its lineup of wholesome and flavorful vegan soups. Providing plant-based protein (8-11g per serving) and only 180-300 calories a bowl, the new products are Non-GMO Certified (NSF), Plant Based Certified, contain no added colors, flavors or preservatives, and are completely free of cholesterol and trans fat. Ready to heat-and-eat via stovetop or microwave, here’s how the new varieties ladle up:
- Chick & Wild Rice: Featuring a wholesome serving of Upton’s Naturals’ Chick Setian paired with wild rice and plenty of herbs and spices, this soup delivers delicious homemade flavor without spending hours in the kitchen.
- Crimson Lentil: Inspired by the company founder’s favorite dal recipe, this lentil soup is delicious as a side dish, but hearty enough to be the main event. Try it with a squeeze of lemon and fresh cilantro!
- Minestrone: A vegan take on one of the most popular soup recipes, this is the perfect combination of vegetables, red kidney beans, and ditalini pasta in a seasoned tomato broth. Enjoy it with a slice of grilled bread.
Said Upton’s Naturals’ founder Dan Staackmann, “From our Chick & Wild Rice that’s rich in protein-packed seitan to our veggie-forward minestrone, and my personal favorite, Crimson Lentil, each of our new soups are crafted with real, simple ingredients to provide nutrition and excellent taste for consumers following a plant-based or vegan diet.”
