Great interest is being expected in the 21st International Food, Raw Material and Production Technologies – UzFood 2022 fair, which will be held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, between 29 and 31 March 2022. UzFood, which is the biggest food fair of Uzbekistan, one of the most important countries in Asia, is waiting to host the leading brands of the domestic and foreign sector.
It is expected that the average number of visitors will be more than 9,000, including suppliers, manufacturers, dealers and influential participants in the food industry from different countries.
Meat and poultry, dairy products, confectionery, beverages, food ingredients, food industry equipment, packaging systems and horeca from the food industry are being taken place in the fair.
It was announced that 5,302 visits were registered to the fair, of which 4,078 were professional visitors from 12 different countries, Afghanistan, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, UAE, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ukraine in 2021.
While 42 companies from Turkey will participated in Uzfood 2021, it is expected that there will be intense interest this year as well. It has been stated that Uzbekistan, of which export volume has increased compared to previous years with increasing commercial partnerships and foreign relations, aims to hold the fair with participants from more countries in 2022.
Leading firms of the sector meet in Uzbekistan
There are manufacturers, representatives of the wholesale and retail segment of the consumer market, and influential names in the food industry from different countries among the participants. The leading companies of the sector are waiting to introduce their new products at UzFood, which is the first stop of their target to expand to Asia.
Minister of Arkhangelsk Region Agro-Industrial Complex and Trade Irina Bazhanova declared that the fair is one of the largest fairs in Uzbekistan and is an effective space for business meetings and direct negotiations in the food sector.
At the same time, the German national pavilion ‘Made in Germany’ is getting ready to be exhibited for the first time at the UzFood 2022 fair. Uzbekistan, with this exhibition, promises to introduce new suppliers and products meeting the changing demands of consumers by hosting different countries and cultures.
