Thanks to its unique flavour coming from the Aegean region, Egemden received the bronze award in the category of quality at the world-renowned olive oil competition London IOOC.

Turkey’s largest cooking oil producer Savola Foods received the bronze award in the quality category at the world-renowned olive oil competition London International Olive Oil Competition with Egemden Extra Virgin Cold Press olive oil. Egemden had previously received an award in the design category with its Gourmet Series Bottles designed by Ümit Ünal in the same competition in 2018, and this time it was awarded for its quality among many competitors.

Over 60 jury members consisting of independent experts from all over the world evaluated hundreds of different olive oils at London IOOC, the world-renowned and Europe’s most prestigious olive oil competition. Egemden Extra Virgin Cold Press Olive Oil stood out among all the competing olive oils and received the bronze award in the quality category.

The Gourmet Series already holds many international awards

Egemden has been proving its success with the various international awards it has won, including the brand’s Gourmet Series Glass Bottles designed by Ümit Ünal winning the first prize among 6,375 competitors in 2019 at If Design Awards, the world’s biggest design competition. Additionally, the brand received 2 Golden Prizes at Turkey’s most prestigious packaging competition Crescents and Stars for Packaging, as well as receiving “Platinum”, “Silver” and “Gold” awards at Europe’s the most prestigious competition, London IOOC, in 2018.

Egemden Gourmet Flavors Series is produced from olives cultivated in the Northern Aegean region, referred to as the Ayvalık area. It has been meticulously bottled and offered with the Early Harvest, Organic and Cold Press varieties for olive oil enthusiasts seeking unique flavours.

Savola Foods incorporates Turkey’s leading cooking oil brands Yudum, Sırma, Egemden, Cielo, Brillo and Afia under its roof. Savola Foods is among the most experienced olive oil producers in Turkey in addition to its success in the cooking oil market, and the brand is proud to maintain its position as the top branded olive oil exporter in Turkey for many successive years.
