One of the biggest players in the canned and tomato paste market for 58 years, Tukaş Gıda (Tukaş Food Company) has rolled up its sleeves to establish its fourth production facility in Niğde Bor Organized Industrial Zone after Manyas, Torbalı and Akhisar factories.
Growing rapidly with the acquisition of the company by Okullu Family in 2014, Tukaş Gıda targets to start production at new production facilities to be built on a 187,000m² land in Niğde in 2021.
According to the information received from Tukaş Gıda, tomato paste, vegetable canned food and frozen food will be produced in the new production facility to be established in Niğde.
The new facility, which will make its first production as of 2021, will have an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons of tomatoes, 100,000 tons of potatoes and 80,000 tons of vegetables and will employ 700 heads.
