FoodProduct – International Food and Beverage Special Fair, which is Turkey’s most extensive organization in its field, has brought 410 exhibitors and 43,523 professional visitors together in 2018. Yielding profit for the exhibitors and visitors with the emerging trade volume, the 26th FoodProduct will take place at the Antalya Expo Center, 16 – 19 January 2019.
The 26th FoodProduct – International Food and Beverage Special Fair organized by ANFAS, the Antalya Fair Management and Investment Inc., has set off on the road for the organization to be held in 2019, by opening the exhibitors to the world with export-oriented foreign activities.
CONCURRENT FAIRS AT THE GROWING FAIR CENTER
The 26th FoodProduct which will bring all stakeholders of the food and beverage industry together will open its doors between January 16 and 19 of 2019 at the Antalya Expo Center, the fair and congress center, which has reached from the ANFAS’s total area of 20.000 sq. to an exhibition area of 60.000 sq., consisting of a closed area of 40.000 sq. and an open area of 20.000 sq. Held concurrently with the 29th HotelEquipment – International Accommodation and Hospitality Equipment Special Exhibition in 2018, which is considered as a leading fair in its own field in Turkey, the FoodProduct will be organized under the same roof with the 30th HotelEquipment once again in 2019.

Arzu Yüngül, the Fairs Director of ANFAS, has come up with an explanation about the 26th FoodProduct and 30th HotelEquipment, by saying “With an experience of over a quarter century as ANFAS, we continue to bring the Turkey’s export leaders with our domestic and foreign professional visitors. An export volume of at least 30 million dollars was reached in our fairs held in 2018. By increasing this amount in double digits in 2019, we target to reach a business volume of at least 60 million dollars. Going one step beyond every year with the power we obtain from our international and local stakeholders, our fairs are distinguished by being unrivalled organizations that gather food, beverage and accommodation industries under a single roof. 410 FIRMS AND OVER 3500 BRANDS
Stating that holding the 25th FoodProduct concurrently with the 29th HotelEquipment was reacted positively by exhibitors and visitors, Mrs. Yürgül also added “we gathered around 3500 brands from 410 exhibitors active in the accommodation, food and beverage industry in our fair held between January 17 and 20 of 2018 in Antalya. Our fairs which show a growth of 40% in comparison to the last year has allowed us to completely fill up our closed exhibition area of 40.000 sq. Exhibitors had a chance there to exhibit new and innovative products during the fair.”
43,523 DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN VISITORS IN 4 DAYS
Giving information about visitor attraction activities of the fair, Arzu Yüngül said “we brought totally 43.523 professional visitors together with our exhibitors in 4 days, as a result of visitor attraction activities carried out by ANFAS in Turkey and other target countries. Our fairs took a great interest from authorities of supermarket chains, owners of cafes and restaurants, food wholesalers, retailers, chefs and cooks, hotel investors & managers, purchasers, spa centers, interior architects, building contractors, public authorities as well as authorities of teacherages, public housings, official institutions and social recreational facilities.
PROFESSIONAL VISITORS FROM 29 COUNTRIES
Stating that the fair serves as an international meeting point, Mrs. Yüngül said “By means of the cooperation of the T.R. Ministry of Economy, ATSO (Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry), BAIB (West Mediterranean Exporters Association) and ANFAS in the context of the foreign visitor attraction activities, procurement committees from 29 countries including Azerbaijan, Germany, Albania, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, China, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Palestine, France, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Spain, Qatar, Kosovo, Libya, Lebanon, Malta, Egypt, Moldova, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Jordan gathered with the exhibitors in the fair.”

Stating that –besides all these foreign activities- professional procurement committees in Turkey are also present, Mrs. Yüngül expressed that “In the national sense, the T.R. Ministry of Economy, chambers of trade and industry associated to TOBB (the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), TAFED (Cooks and Chefs Federation of Turkey), TPF (the Turkish Retailers Federation), TÜROFED (the Turkish Hoteliers Federation), Chambers of Artisans associated to TESK (the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen), the Food and Beverage Managers’ Association, POYD (the Professional Hotel Managers Association), OSMED (Hotel Purchasing Managers), TÜRSAD (the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies), HOTED (Hotel Housekeeping Training and Decoration Association) as well as food wholesalers, military services, teacherages, hospitals, universities and professional visitors from numerous platform came together with the exhibitors.
