Participating in Anuga international food and beverage fair, the largest fair organization in the world, Seyidoglu Food met with international buyers. The company aims to expand its export markets and targeted to sell in 35 countries by 2018. General manager Mehmet Goksu said, “With our four brands we try to participate in all of the major fair events in this field in order to extend our market coverage. We establish serious contacts with buyers coming from Europe and from the Middle East countries and show them our products.”
He continued, “We are satisfied by the extensive interest they showed to our booth at Anuga. Starting with only halva and jam production at the beginning, our company now owns a product line that has 400 items. As of October, the size of our factory will be doubled up to 16 thousand sqm. Thus, we need to increase both our share of exports and product varieties. Fairs and activities in foreign markets have become more important. We have exhibited both our traditional varieties and innovative products to the choice of the global buyers. We got many fruitful deals with our buyers.”
Goksu also said that they are the third largest company among the producers in Europea and Middle East in terms of machine inventory and production capacities they have.
